Beijing Commerce and Trade School

Beijing Commerce and Trade School, founded in 1964, is the national outstanding secondary vocational school, first batch of demonstration school of secondary vocational school reform and development, as well as the school of modernization of Beijing vocational education. It has won many honors, such as National Education Advanced Collective, National Advanced Unit of Vocational Education, National Advanced School of Vocational Guidance, Capital Civilized Unit, Capital Landscaping Garden School, etc. The school has strong faculty with a number of national and Beijing outstanding teachers, backbone teachers, outstanding youth backbone teachers, technical teachers, major leaders who have achieved excellent results in series competitions like Vocational Skills Competition.
The previous training “TVET CBT Blended Learning Programs – Trainer” held on 11th of July by Beijing Commerce and Trade School and AVEA has received a wonderful feedback from the 88 teachers. Therefore the school prefers to host another TVET CBT Blended Learning Programs – Assessor on 19th of December that focuses on the assessment.
Australian vocational education has always maintained a good reputation and set a worldwide example, which owes to the qualification framework, competency standards, teachers’ training system, competency based assessment.

01 Training

This training will last for 2 weeks through multiple learning methods include blended learning, live zoom training, online studying, discussion, Q&A, etc. The session is designed for vocational teachers and the development of continuing education. The online learning platform could automatically track the learning time, task completion and the quality of homework as a certificate of professional development hours. All learners will receive the TVET Certificate issued by AVEA after they complete all tasks.

02 Trainer

Robyn Guo who obtained many qualifications such as TAE40116 and TVET Trainer and TVET Assessor in IST has a deep understanding of Australian vocational education, competency based training, training and assessment standard. She has provided many training sessions related to competency based training and early childhood education for vocation colleges and worked as a teaching assistant in international certificate program like TAE and IST. Moreover she has offered consulting services in curriculum construction, teaching strategies, teaching materials and student evaluations.

TVET CBT Blended Learning Programs integrate high quality education resources and training sessions with clear themes and contents designed by AVEA experts, which helps teachers from vocational colleges develop their abilities in every ways through six modules.
This whole program lasts for three months, but each module is independent of each other. So learners could choose to take all of them or a few modules to promote the specific skills.
