China Australia Vocational Education Cooperation TAFE Education Model Reform Program first training session held in Beijing

China Australia Vocational Education Cooperation TAFE Education Model Reform Program first training session was held in Beijing Business School from December 10 to 14, 2018. Representatives from Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences Vocational Education Institute, Melbourne Polytechnic, Australia Vocational Education Alliance and 11 vocational schools and colleges in Beijing attended this session.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Dongjiang Wang, director of Vocational and Adult Education Department, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, delivered the speech celebrating the launch of the first training session of the Beijing TAFE Education Model Reform Project. Mr. Wang gave a short speech to wish the training being successful. At the same time, he suggested that the teachers to participate in this training with responsibility and confidence, and strive to embed what they learn into their daily practice.

In the afternoon of December 14, the closing ceremony was held. Ms. Lianxin Xing, the Vice President of Beijing Business School, and Dr. Yubo Wang, the researcher of Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences Vocational Education Institute, delivered the conclusion speech. Four teachers, on behalf of all the participating teachers presented their gaining and feelings on the TAFE project and demonstrated their confidence and determination for the implementation of the project. The teachers obtained affirmation for their passionate and hard-working from Melbourne Polytechnic experts, Dr. Adam Usher, Professor Julie Godwin and Professor Antonio Nesci.

At the end of the ceremony, with the awarding of certificates, the first training session of TAFE Education Model Reform Project concluded successfully.
